what makes the gate narrow, and the way difficult which leads to life? Modern times man has more proof of Yeshua’s existence and historic reality than any other generation… except those eye witnesses in the days of His earthly walk.

Modern man is also bombarded with more anti-Christ spirit influence than any other past generation… from within the Church and from every other influencial source… Yeshua said:

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?” mat 7:15-16 nkjv  AND Paul said to Timothy there will be perilous times and perilous men in the last days:

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 2 tim 3:1-7 nkjv

Yahweh saw all this from the beginning of time… He understood fallen man’s weaknesses and He understood fully the “wiles” [schemes and tricks] of the Evil one, Satan. So what did He do about it?

In the unfathomable wisdom of YHWH, He provided us a solid (and unmovable) foundation; that forms our “three-legged stool” of faith: He gave us his Torah Word at Mt Sinai, the one and only truth to sanctify us [jn 17:17];  He gave us His only Begotten Son- Yeshua, [YHWH incarnate] to redeem us, Yeshua is our only Salvation; and He gave us His Ruach (Holy Spirit) to “indwell us,” Comfort us, [jn 14:17 nkjv]  and lead us into all truth [jn 16:13 nkjv] (there is only ONE truth… His Torah Word). What then is our role in all of this?

Paul teaches us in Ephesians that the real battle is not with flesh and blood, but with underlying spiritual entities that manifest through humans that are not interested in pleasing Yahweh or looking for His way of living… On the contrary, their one and only mission is to destroy you… do you know that? They will settle for only killing you… bodily, but they rejoice in destroying your soul, to separate you from Yeshua eternally. Consider this:

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” eph 6:10-13 nkjv

While we need to understand our adversary and his tactics, we also need to know that without our merciful Yahweh’s given [and prepared from the beginning] instructions and weapons of conflict, that we must take and use, we cannot ourselves overcome the evil in this world, our job is faith, trust, and obedience, as we allow the Holy Spirit to work out through us. The Enemy will do everything to keep you from knowing your strengths and utilities and how to use them… they don’t work like guns and knives.

My observations are that too many believes have been deceived concerning the “gifts of the Spirit,” that Yahweh has made available for our protection and peace and healing. I am aware that some don’t see the same Biblical picture that I do on this issue… but I hope you will at least read what is following, first my comments on the Ministry of the Holy Spirit… then an article I have linked to a Daniel Botkin teaching that I think is wholly necessary for surviving the deceptive days we live in… which I think will get worse, within the Church, and on the streets.

Considering the “Ministry of the Holy Spirit,” let us understand that the “one God-Elohim” of Israel (YHWH - Yahweh, the Creator of the Heavens, Earth and all that is within them) is what the Hebrew Commentary defines as “One God.” The Hebrew term “echad,” is a compound unity. It is how we understand YHWH as being the Tetragrammaton… inclusive as God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit… not to be confused with a Roman Church Trinity… YHWH is ONE. So, the New Testament era outpouring of the Holy Spirit is a watershed event… with an “in person” manifestation to anyone willing to believe this “new” indwelling and overflowing experience. I am not talking about a salvation experience, I am talking about the baptsim of the Holy Spirit in believers lives.
