| “I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.” ps 119:30 nkjv

June 22, 2021 Have you ever thought of recording your conversation with the Living God… then you write the recording down and study it… here’s part of what the Psalmist conversation with Yahweh/God contained. ps 119:33-40 nkjv "Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, And I shall keep it to the end. 34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart. 35 Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it. 36 Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness. 37 Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way. 38 Establish Your word to Your servant, Who is devoted to fearing You. 39 Turn away my reproach which I dread, For Your judgments are good. 40 Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness." The last statement… “Revive me in Your righteousness,” I think, requires some deep thought, especially if you want to embrace the fullness of what is contained in these few powerful words. Is there any other place in the universe where one could be “revived,” [in wholeness] other than in Yahweh’s Righteousness… ? Remember... the Apostle Peter tells us that, in the knowledge of Yeshua, Yahweh has provided us everything that pertains to life and godliness. “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 pet 1:2-4 nkjv Do we, as professing believers, have the same intense pursuit for the heart of the Almighty Creator that is expressed so profoundly by the Psalmist in each verse above? Because we are surrounded by an insane and corrupt society that presses us to attract our carnal attention, to pull us away from spiritual life in Yahweh’s Righteousness, I think this is a set of scriptures that could be defined as “preventive medicine for our soul,” or perhaps it could be said to have kinship to the Lord’s Prayer verse that says , “give us this day our daily bread.” Keeping in mind that Yeshua/Jesus, said He was the “bread of life” sent down from heaven.
