And Yeshua continued and said, “Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” mat 18:4 nkjv…  Matthew chapter 18 begins with the Disciples asking Yeshua who was the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven. Notice Yeshua did not start listing the great men that we read about before Yeshua’s time; for example, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Elijah, and many others. He ends His Chapter 18 comments with telling them they must forgive their brothers their trespasses. Chapter 18 gives us much wisdom concerning life’s issues and how we must deal with them…

As children, many of us [myself included] learned, “Jesus loves me, this I know, because the Bible tells me so.” I am forever thankful for the wonderful people who taught me in children’s Sunday School… the value of those lessons are priceless. The “good seed of Yahweh’s Word” was planted in my heart, and throughout my life, it has been producing fruits of truth, by which Yahweh Sanctifies us. Jn 17:17 nkjv   After childhood, and all through my life, there have been many other saints who have invested their love and Biblical knowledge and experiences into my life. I believe Yahweh designed it that way for all of us.

As a matter of fact, Yahweh provided many “teachers” for our learning and spiritual knowledge; and Yeshua’s life and ministry [work of the Messiah] has been in all of this from the beginning… jn 1:1   For example, the Prophet Isaiah has many references to the preincarnate Messiah/Christ:

“Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isa 53:4-6 nkjv And,

“There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,
And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
3 His delight is in the fear of the Lord,
And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,
Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor,
And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,
And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.
5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,
And faithfulness the belt of His waist.” isa 11:1-5 nkjv And,

“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” isa 9:6-7 nkjv

Is there any more beautiful foretelling or more convincing description of Yahweh’s work in our behalf than this… Isaiah wrote these words 700 years before Yeshua’s time. How can anyone with any reasonable modicum of intelligence not see and understand this evidence of Yeshua being Yahweh’s plan for our deliverance and salvation? The Bible “Old Testament” is full of many more examples of Yahweh’s work of redemption in the Messiah. And, they are presented to us so that, even as a little child, we can know and repent of our sins and foolish pursuit of materialism and hedonistic pleasures that are only temporary “illusions” to separate us from these divine truths… consider this:

“By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.” heb 11:24-26 nkjv

I pray you will look clearly at the world and times that we now live in… so many try to ignore the clear and sound warnings that the Bible pronounces of these last days. I hope you will not be distracted by the false illusion that temporal things so powerfully draw you into. The indulgence in those things are poisonous seeds that infect your heart’s desires, they are working to draw you into the “great falling away” and “deceptions” that Yeshua warned us about that the anti-Christ system would use to “develop” your habits and interests.

Yahweh is longsuffering, patient and kind towards us; yet while there is yet time, we must choose to accept His “predetermined” gift of salvation [Yeshua, the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world]. Jn 3:16-17;  It is time for us to become as “a little child,” and understand the great love Yahweh has for us and let Him teach us how to walk through the wasteland of sin and evil now increasingly metastasizing throughout the world… and not let its infectious affliction obscure His truth… note this:

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 thes 2:9-12 nkjv

This is no small thing! Note carefully, IT IS Yahweh who says, well if you want death by not loving MY truth, then you shall have it…. Do you understand what this means and how it effects you? The Bible’s admonition of the last days being as “was the days of Noah,” is a profound understanding… Yahweh gave Noah and his family deliverance with a natural physical ark of escape… Our ark of escape, in these last days is the ark of TRUTH… to love Yahweh’s truth, it is a spiritual realm with real physical results. The evil deceptions being planned and executed by the anti-Christ system [now at work] is doing everything possible to drown you in lies, misinformation, deceptions, and temporal pleasurable pursuits to keep you from turning back to Yahweh’s Word and “life in the Spirit,” that preserves us for all eternity. Consider the words of Jim Elliot, a missionary who believed in sacrificing temporary things for eternal rewards.

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose."
