The Apostle Paul said, “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” rom 10:4 nkjv The “law” here is the Torah, Yahweh’s commandments given to Moses at Mt. Sinai. The same “commandments that Yeshua said in John, “that if you love me keep my commandments.” jn 14:15 nkjv... And the same Word that is forever settled in heaven ps 119:89 nkjv... We can conclude then that Paul, a scholar of the Torah and eye witness of Yeshua’s presence at the Damascus road experience… acts 9:4 nkjv, surely is not telling us that Yahweh’s eternal Word is finished… or ended. He is saying that Christ [Yeshua] has, in the new covenant, established our righteousness, by our faith in Him… not our seeking to perform works to obtain the “ unattainable.” Even the blood of “bulls and goats,” sacrificed can’t remove our sins and guilt… only the blood of Yeshua can do that.

Why am I telling you this? It has to do with the people of the last generation who will be on earth during the tribulation, and who Yahweh will use to complete His “proof” to the anti-Christ system that the “remnant” faithful are over-comers and that they have the power of the Almighty in them. A sort of “see there devil,” if I may say so… sort of like when the devil was stalled in his attack on Job to cause him to “curse God,” job 2:8-10 nkjv This is what the Scriptures say about these “remnant” people:

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” rev 12:11 nkjv

“And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” rev 12:17 nkjv

The Torah written upon our hearts and instilled into our minds is the sustaining element of our ability to persevere in the tribulation times… the Holy Spirit vitalizes our testimony of the Messiah because of the “hand written Torah within our hearts,” which Yahweh said He would do, has done, and it will sustain us.

These tribulation remnant faithful are keeping the same commandments Yeshua told them to, the same commandments that have never ended; only keeping them for attaining righteousness has ended. And it is now important to really understand what is coming upon the earth… as the beast system is coming closer to being exposed and implemented for its assault upon Yahweh’s people… the remnant faithful; I think this scripture from Isaiah applies to this “time of man,” and the last days:

“2 Therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel against the shepherds who feed My people: “You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings,” says the Lord. 3 “But I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4 I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says the Lord.” Jer 23:2-4 nkjv

The self-serving and hireling “shepherds” who have ravaged and devoured Yahweh’s “sheep,” of these last decades of spiritual decline, are responsible for the dismal shape of the church at large. It is the remnant that I wish to address. I posted an article some years ago on “The Remnant: who are they? I encourage you to read it to better understand this devotional… also, it would be good if you could read Romans chapters 8-12, as Paul speaks to Yahweh’s divine plan in all of this.

It is also important to understand the circumstances in today’s Israel… I recently sent out another article about the “Spiritual Rebirth of Israel.” Paul reminds us “first the natural, then the spiritual,” as the natural progression. 1 cor 15:46 nkjv... Why is this important? Because the Nation of Israel has, as the article explains, likely passed from its natural state onto its spiritual birth, now with the birth pangs of the last days as necessary.

At some point, I think, before too much longer, the “remnant” people will be at center stage in the time of man… perhaps they are now in the birth canal of events coming about both in Israel and in the Nations. It is time to focus on our role and understand our calling.
