“Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” mk 10:15 nkjv |
March 3, 2026 And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.” lk 8:10 nkjv What do you think the “mysteries” of the the kingdom of God may be? When Yeshua said this, He was explaining [to His Disciples] the parable of the seed/sower… here is the context: “11 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13 But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. 14 Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15 But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.” lk 8:11-15 nkjv Notice here that the “seed” is one and the same in each “soil” example. Thus, the soil of one’s heart needs to be ready and willing to receive the “good seed” [the gospel of Christ]. It is also notable that the seed contains the fruit as the end product… so seed can be good or bad. A principle of Yahweh’s creation is that the seed produces after its own kind [good or bad]. The soil will try as hard to grow bad seed [tares in the the parable of the tares; mat 13:24-30], as it does to grow good seed… all farmers know the never-ending battle of keeping their “cash crop” weed free, otherwise the weeds can diminish the crop’s value or even destroy it. When Yahweh placed Adam/Eve in the Garden of Eden, He commissioned him [Adam] to “tend and to keep it.” gen 2:15 The words tend and keep include “guard,” “protect,” “cultivate,” and etc. You see, while Yahweh gave them [Adam/Eve] the best of everything… they allowed bad choices to corrupt their paradise. Their “garden” and our “hearts” have always worked the same way… in both cases, if the wicked one can corrupt your condition, the resulting tares/weeds will diminish and can even destroy your purpose and eternal destiny that Yahweh has predestined for you… Yeshua’s teaching of the “seed/sower” parable and the parable of the “wheat/tares” are to enlighten our understanding and bring the underlying principle of Kingdom of God reality into spiritual focus. Our “viewpoint” is a type of our heart’s soil… it is either a truth perspective, which includes believing and obeying, or a self-willed interpretation that allows our carnal [fleshly] desires to follow the lie. Such is the mystery… believe Yahweh, as a little child, and walk in the “kingdom” in faith, or go our own way into in the blindness Yeshua spoke of: “Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.” Consider the Apostle Paul’s comments regarding the “kingdom of God.” “9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 cor 6:9-10 nkjv Paul tells the Galatians the same thing in Gal 5:19-21; What do you think has “blinded” the understanding in these perdition bound people’s lives… the “mystery” has surely been out of their focus and pursuits of this life. Do you know the Biblical meaning of these life and death evil practices… if not, you better find out. The New King James Bible, New Testament, makes reference to “the kingdom of God” 69 times. One certain thing that Yeshua told the religious leaders was this: “ Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” lk 17:20-22 nkjv The Bible is consistent in claiming that the “natural man” [intellectual mind], without being “born again” simply cannot understand the things of God. In fact, Paul says they are foolishness to the carnal mind. This fits perfectly with Yeshua’s comments, “Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.” This disconnect from the “spiritual man” seems to be the underlying mystery that Yeshua spoke to his disciples about [mystery of the kingdom]. Now, along with this “mysterious” kingdom of God issue, is the nine gifts of the Spirit Paul explains in 1 cor 12. The connection, I think, is that Yeshua instructed the believers to tarry [wait] at Jerusalem for the “Pentecost” experience that He would send shortly following his ascension… All these supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit are for the edification of the Saints. Is it not a fact that this one issue is divisive among churchmen? The “mystery of the Kingdom” is a very real thing that we all need to get a better understanding of in order to better navigate the turbulent times we now live in. The “mysterious” spiritual gifts and their need in our lives is paramount for the spiritual warfare we now face. Now, I think that this is the “take-away” in this message: lk 8:15… “But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.” The Prophet Jeremiah told the sinning men of Judah and Jerusalem, “Break up your fallow ground, And do not sow among thorns. Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, And take away the foreskins of your hearts,” Jer 4:3-4 Those men had become comfortable in their wayward ways… just as we can when we do not let Yahweh’s Word purify our minds so that we are not deceived by the sounds of Babylon that inundate our lives in nearly all venues… Jeremiah went on to say: “Lest My [Yahweh’s] fury come forth like fire, And burn so that no one can quench it, Because of the evil of your doings.” The truly spiritual things of the Bible are the main thing. Yes, they are a mystery, intended to be by Yahweh’s design. The scripture clearly tells us that Yahweh will test us to see how serious we are to His expectations of us… We can only see truth [from Yahweh's Word] with “spirit” eyes and then we must “tend and keep” the garden or our hearts with its nutritional sustenance… lest the tares and weeds of evil seed overwhelm our fruit of the spirit.
