“To the law [Torah] and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”  isa 8:20 nkjv

April 1, 2025

“One who turns away his ear from hearing the law [Torah], Even his prayer is an abomination.” prov 28:9 nkjv   The Torah is the Word that “was in the beginning.” jn 1:1-14 nkjv

When Yeshua, the “Word/Torah that became flesh,” walked the earth, He did not come to destroy the Law [Torah], He came to fulfill it; validate it, certify it, clarify it, help us see that the Word and He were one and the same… they are the truth and instruction of Yahweh, and Psalms 119:89   says it [Yahweh’s Word] is forever settled. Why does the religious community have so much trouble believing these Words of Yahweh and Yeshua? How many times must Yeshua tell us…

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law [Torah] till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” mat 5:17-19 nkjv

When Yahweh took Abraham [Abram, before Yahweh renamed him], He embarked upon a meticulous plan [that NO man can alter] to establish His salvation pathway for mankind. He [Yahweh] would use a certain people, whom He would call Israel, to describe and demonstrate to all onlookers, what He was doing, and how it was to be.

When Moses was called up to the mountain of God, Mt. Sinai, Yahweh gave him a detailed set of instructions, not to be deviated from, that would define [exact specifications] the earthly Tabernacle and Protocols that would initiate the lifestyle and practices, and prohibitions for His chosen people. That earthly tabernacle and protocols would represent [foretell], the yet to come, new covenant “tabernacle” that would be within us, in our hearts and minds, and that we were [are] expected to follow as the “principles” and “lifestyles” that were exampled in the Moses narrative… referred to as the Law of Moses/Torah [first five books of a Christian Bible]. As new covenant believers, Yeshua dwells within our “most holy place, inner being” and yet our outward man is only able to represent the visible “tabernacle” that we are to be, if we look like the “specified” example… look and act like Yeshua.

The Torah’s demonstrated animal sacrificial examples would teach us different types of offenses and remedies that would lead us to understand the meaning of Yahweh’s sacrifice of His only begotten Son [Yeshua]. Yeshua, the new covenant originator, did not change the Torah principles and commandments for lifestyles when He was revealed as the “lamb slain before the foundation of the world,” secrete, that Yahweh preplanned to use to destroy the Satanic grip [sin] on men’s lives. We understand this divine intervention into men’s lives as the core meaning of the “gospel,” which is available to all men as Yahweh’s grace and gift that everyone who repents from their sins and asks Yahweh’s forgiveness, can then have Yeshua’s redeeming work change them [spiritual status] from death to life eternal… in other words, we are restored to fellowship with Yahweh by Him seeing us through the “blood” covering of Yeshua… Just as He saw the blood covered Israelites [and “whosoever will” believers, mixed multitude] that enjoined Moses instructions to put the sacrificed lamb's blood on their door post and lintels on the Passover night… as the Torah instructed. Yeshua IS our Passover lamb. 1 cor 5:7 nkjv

It seems to me that a lot of people think they can take a lot of liberty with what Yahweh specifically says; their reasons, ___________, you can fill in the blank. Let me explain, quite simply here is what Yahweh instructed His people concerning His Torah:

“You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” deut 4:2 nkjv

“Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.” deut 12:32 nkjv

Now if I may ask you to consider, that much of my working profession was dealing with complicated process and system operation designs and their necessary equipment and structures of a great amount of integrated detail, all with necessary relationships for their successful operation… necessarily, all such projects had meticulously detailed published written engineering specifications and corresponding drawings for structural and process instrumentation and controls for the needed system. Mind you, the Professional Engineering disciplines, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, and etc., each, where applicable, were enjoined with the same specification for their particular role in the project as a whole… not unlike the exact specification needed for designing an airplane suitable for public safety. I hope a picture is beginning to form in your mind…

Here’s the point, when you bid a contract to build and or supply materials, equipment, and services as a supplier, contractor, sub-contractor and/or site management, etc… THERE IS ONLY ONE SET OF SPECIFICATIONS that controls all these details. NO ONE, other than the controlling owner/designer has the authority to change, take from, or add to any of the specifications or plans. Did you get that? Sounds like Yahweh’s deut 4:2 and deut 12:32 orders noted above. As best I can, I wish to emphasize that Yahweh makes the rules and, we must notice He admonished Moses to make sure He followed the exact instructions for building the Tabernacle and doing the services. The question is, how can any man say that believers today do not need to be Torah Observant…? I believe being Torah Observant is simply following the divine specification, which I think still stands, and will like Yeshua said, stand until heaven and earth pass away… there are no allowable addendums and change orders that apply to the Torah.

When we accept the divine sacrifice by Yeshua to restore us to acceptable “condition” for fellowship with Yahweh, we have to do it His way. We do not “observe” the Torah for salvation, we observe it to learn how to “look like” the specified identity of the “bride to be,” prepared by Yahweh for His Son, Yeshua… a bride without spot or wrinkle… and only the Torah specification of principles and commandments can define the spotless bride (as she waits, in faith in Yeshua, for Him to come for her at the Father’s command)… and finally, that we are told that His commandments are not burdensome, by John, 1 jh 5:2-3 nkjv.

“ By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.” 1 jn 5:2-3   You can only find the understanding for keeping the commandments from the root source… The Torah, and watching how Yeshua taught us to walk it out.

When someone says Torah Observance is not for new covenant believers… then do they also not know that Yeshua observance is the same? --- be careful what you turn you ear to: ”One who turns away his ear from hearing the law [Torah], Even his prayer is an abomination.” prov 28:9 nkjv
