Some things never change… The Bible says the wicked are estranged from the womb:

”The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.” ps 58:3 nkjv

The wicked are a busy folk… In the book of Psalms, [NKJV] the wicked are referred to 111 times. They are about much mischievousness; they follow the dictates of their own evil hearts and the influence of the devil. They are bad company: Paul cautions the Corinthians, “Do not be deceived: ‘Evil company corrupts good habits.’”

Wickedness is not just a product of keeping bad company… there is much “wickedness” influencing our thinking and living that presses upon us from many sources. A few would be… the bulk entertainment venues, social media, the fake news media, corrupt government agencies (from the top down), most of corporate enterprise, educational institutions, much of modern “church” teaching… the list is much longer. So, “Do not be deceived: ‘Evil influences corrupt good habits.’” The scriptures say:

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” lk 6:45 nkjv

Where do we get “treasure of our hearts” from… what will it have to do with our eternal destiny?

David said: “Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.” ps 119:11 nkjv

Yeshua said: “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” mat 12:37 nkjv

Tragically, our world, especially the generations of the last decades, who have rejected Yahweh’s truth, and followed the “wicked” counsel of the carnal, intellectual institutions, that have influenced their thinking and motives… now have hearts full of sinful and fleshly desires and pursuits… thus, the title Psalm: “The wicked prowl on every side, When vileness is exalted among the sons of men.”

For the year 2023, this is Passover Week… and one of the conditions of “keeping the Passover,” is to get the leaven (sin) out of our lives (hearts, vessels; where Yeshua dwells, or desires to), so that we can partake of the bread (broken body) of Yeshua [our Passover Lamb], and drink of the “cup” (wine representing the shed blood of Yeshua). This Biblical “feast,” that Yahweh commands the faithful, is of no interest to the wicked. Only those who partake, in faith, of the written Word Command of Yahweh, are once again “doing this in remembrance of Him.” It is important to recognize that our keeping this annual commemoration “feast of Yahweh,” is an acknowledgment that we accept His terms and follow His expectations of us. The Biblical “feast of the LORD,” can all be read about in Leviticus chapter 23. These “feast of the LORD,” are often mistakenly referred to as, “the feast of the Jews,” but all believers who believe in Yeshua and are obedient to the Torah/Word of Yahweh are expected at Yahweh’s feast.

I want to encourage you to “celebrate” the mighty work of our Messiah Yeshua… enjoin the faithful who are refreshed in keeping the Passover; It will help fill your heart with “treasure.” Remember, He is coming soon the second time… for those who look for His appearing.
