The Simplicity of the Gospel: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” jn 3:16 nkjv |
August 19, 2025 Why did Yahweh [GOD] do this as such? John’s next verse tells us more. “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” jn 3:17 nkjv Could it be any more simple than this? He [Yahweh] did this because He loves us so much, the world of men, that He gave Himself, Yeshua, Yahweh incarnate, to deliver us all… Our [any person’s] rejection of this love, ends in their destruction in the lake of fire… I can only think of one reason a person would end up there, that being they chose the devil’s offer. Yes, Satan is real and very dangerous. These words in the scripture above, from John chapter 3, are, in many Bibles, printed in red… indicating the words of Yeshua [Jesus]. It is notable that these words of Yeshua were spoken in His conversation with Nicodemus, who was a Pharisee, and a ruler of the Jews. Yeshua emphasized to him the importance for each of us being “born again,” also called “begin saved.” This would include the “Jews,” as Nicodemus was being told. It is also notable that Yeshua asked Nicodemus, who was a teacher of Israel, why he did not know these things. Now, Nicodemus was not one of the evil religious Pharisees who hated Yeshua, as he (and some of his companions) respected Yeshua and said: “...“Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” jn 3:2 nkjv The scripture also tells us that Nicodemus, “came by night,” as he feared repercussions from the evil Jews if they knew he consulted in Yeshua. The ruling Temple Jews, according to the evidence recorded in the New Testament, were corrupt and self-serving men. The Dead Sea Scrolls writings record them as corrupt Priest and Hellenized enemies of the Torah’s commandments as well. Further Nicodemus, if you recall, and Joseph of Arimathea, were the men who took Yeshua’s body from the execution site to the tomb for burial… In short, just as it was with Nicodemus, there have always been good men in “temple/church” situations who have been suppressed with authoritative intimidation, confusion, and false doctrines wrought about by evil charlatans, false teachers, and false prophets, who Yeshua warned us about [mat 24], as well as did Paul the Apostle who said upon his departure [death] ravenous wolves would come into the body of the faithful and try to devour them. Acts 20:29 nkjv Nothing ever changes and will not until the devil is extinguished by Yeshua in the end. What is the lesson we need to learn in this? We are to “watch and pray,” as Yeshua taught in His warnings concerning the last days, as did Peter. Yeshua also said “let no man deceive you.” These times would be a good time to heed these warnings… deceptions and false and fake news and deceivers are everywhere. Consumer fraud is in the billions of dollars yearly, and on the rise, especially if you are connected to the digital world… even greater spiritual fraud and evil is working to separate us from the truth of Yahweh's Word and HIS LOVE. I personally think these evils will be greatly empowered by artificial intelligence (AI) developments that are growing more dangerous day by day… Our only protection from evil is the blood of Yeshua, the commands of Yahweh and the testimony of Yeshua… because the evil cabal [the devil’s surrogates] are not focused upon those lost and rebellious who take their offer rather than Yahweh’s. The scripture tells us: “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” rev 12:17 nkjv “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” rev 12:11 nkjv Yeshua told us the two greatest of Yahweh’s commandments were: “Jesus said to him [Pharisee/lawyer], “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” mat 22:37-39 nkjv I suggest the “first love,” Yeshua warns the Revelation church of Ephesus about, them having lost, is related to the first great commandment above… that church had many good qualities, but this warning was the seemingly most important. Yeshua also said this: “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” mat 24:11-13 nkjv Note it is “lawlessness” [without Torah], being the absence of Yahweh’s laws, and commandments; and influence of corrupt false teachings, that causes men to be deceived and loveless… then the evil one, also called the lawless one (2 thes 2:8-9 nkjv), emerges onto a scene devoid of neighborly love and Yeshua’s love… resulting from the evil cabal’s suppression, censoring and twisting of the Truth of Yahweh’s Word. As did the evil ones in the “days of Noah.” Note Paul’s words to the Thessalonians: “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 thes 2:3-4 nkjv It is my opinion that with all this clamoring of evil now nearly everywhere, that there never has been better a time for the “simplicity of the gospel,” that we, with the Holy Spirit’s help, can example by our love for Yahweh and our neighbor… and extinguishing that example is what I think is the focus of Satan’s divisive and diabolical attack to separate us from the strength of Yahweh's love for us. But then, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 jn 4:4 nkjv The “them” John speaks to above, are those that he says are under the influence of the anti-Christ… Nowadays, I think “them” in this sense are rising to influence all around the world… some will be men, and I think some will be hybrids [man made]… something to think about. And as the Apostle Paul told the Philippians, “...that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.” phil 1:27-28 nkjv All that being said... Do you try to keep the commandments of Yahweh, have the testimony of Yeshua, and can you claim "born again" confession of faith in Yeshua, so that the covering of the blood of the lamb [Yeshua] secures your eternal soul should your die? It really matters how you answer this question. Shalom, John |
Consider Apostle Paul’s encouragement to the Roman believers: “8 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” rom 8:38-39 nkjv |
