| “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” jer 29:11 nkjv

August 23, 2022 What does Yahweh mean, “to give us a future and a hope?” Long before humanity walked the earth, in eternity past, Yahweh, who declares the end from the beginning, [isa 46:10 nkjv], who also in that time… purposed, “the lamb [Yeshua] slain (foreordained) from before the foundation of the world,” [1 pet 1:19-21; rev 13:8 nkjv] Yahweh prepared and provided, in a foreordained and completed master plan, a divine pathway available only to the redeemed… believers who walk in the covenant given them through Yeshua (Jesus); Yahweh is always faithful in performing His forever settled Word, ps 119:89. The scripture says: “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 pet 1:2-4 nkjv It is not easy to get our natural minds around some of the miraculous concepts of Yahweh’s doings and thinking… we must, in faith, embrace the face value of the words spoken and written in the Holy Scriptures. They are given for our benefit and they are core elements of our walk of faith… they are integral and necessary for our full participation in supernatural aspects affecting our earthly life as believers. I suggest that one of the primary elements of Yahweh’s provisions for us to have a “future and hope in” ("expected end" as declared in jer 29:11 kjv) is that of our being quickly ushered into Yahweh’s bosom upon our earthly death, being established in His heavenly provisions where we will experience the fullness of the promised “future and a hope.” This past week, we received news of blessed saint’s passing into that “future and hope” realm. Here is what the Bible tells us about the earthly death of the saints: “Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His saints.” ps 116:15 nkjv For a believer, the passage into our promised “future and hope,” promised by Yahweh, is completed in three parts: First: it is certain because Yahweh predestined it for all born-again believers; Second: Yeshua must be the object of the believers “future and hope;” Third: Our faithfulness unto the end. This is empowered by the indwelling Holy Spirit. Shalom… John |
