“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” ps 19:14 nkjv |
August 27, 2024 What do you think is acceptable in Yahweh's sight? Do you believe many people give much consideration for what the King of the Universe, and their own Creator, thinks of them… how they look in His sight, and what the consequences might be if they considered such things to be true? We should be thankful that Yahweh, by His Word, preserves His values and principles for our lifestyles and our thinking and actions… i.e., “words of our mouth and the meditations of our hearts… Yeshua said in Luke 6:45 nkjv, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” Notice our hearts can store up good treasure or evil treasure, and that like a glass full of clear water or muddy water, will splash out either with a bump that upsets it. How about us, what do we “splash out” when something we don’t like “bumps” us? I think we are emotionally animated by either good graciousness or evil inhibitions. One is the “training we get from Yahweh’s Word working [performing] in us… the opposite is the fallen nature we have if devoid of spiritual life, which builds lovingkindness in us. I like to think David’s words explains it quite well. Psalms 19:7-11 nkjv express some vital truths that David realized in his time; they are: “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; David goes on to say: “Who can understand his errors? When I think about these vital truths, it causes me to conclude that unless one has a personal relationship and regular fellowship with the eternal Words of life, we will dismiss the deviousness of presumptuous sins and secrete faults working in our lives, Thankfully, the faithfulness of the Holy Spirit reveals the “real me [us].” If we refuse the counsel of the divine Word and Spirit, we imperil our own destiny… The Word is forever settled in Heaven; The Spirit of truth is forever faithful. How can we escape their communication? That is without being disobedient and/or defiant… think about these words of the writer of Hebrews: “ Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. heb 4:11-13 nkjv This is something we should be gratefully appreciative of… continually.
